Steve's career has been varied and he's kept himself very busy over the years!

Starting off as an Engineer, he worked in the Industry for many years and then decided that he wanted to get into Fitness and Sports Therapy so did the necessary courses, became qualified and ran various fitness classes, for 10 years, at QE School in Wimborne, Dorset.

He also had a Carpet Cleaning Business but it was his love of pets that brought yet another change in career!

He purchased the premises in Tuckton High Street about 20 years ago, as a Pet Shop. It was converted into a Hairdressers for a number of years and then Raw Nature was 'born' about 4 years ago after he purchased a French Bulldog.

After years of feeding his previous terriers on kibble and dried food, this was not proving a good option for Louis the Bulldog. He suffered from severe flatulence and vomiting and so, upon a recommendation from a friend, Steve started to feed Louis on raw food, which immediately had a positive effect and he became so much healthier. This was the beginning of Steve's new business, Raw Nature, and with more and more people appreciating the benefits of raw food for their pets, the business has thrived year on year.
